I am a contemporary painter and freelance illustrator based in the South of England. I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2011 with a first-class honours degree in Illustration and am currently working on a part-time Masters degree in Sequential Design and Illustration from the University of Brighton.
My work has been displayed in a number of galleries and exhibitions in the Portsmouth area, in collaboration with local art organisations such as Portsmouth Creative Movement and Strong Island. I also sell paintings and take commissions independently via my online store.
I’m interested in trying out new techniques, experimenting with mixtures of wet and dry media and making a huge mess and getting paint and ink all over all of my clothes and possessions. I’m a particularly big user of acrylic paint, watercolour pencils, ink and old yellowing magazines and sheet music. I like to tackle projects with a certain simplicity, light-heartedness and sense of humour that makes my work adaptable for audiences of all ages and suitable for a wide variety of purposes.
This website is full of examples of all the things I can do. If you would like me to do any of these things for you, you can drop me an email at email@example.com. It will be lovely to hear from you.
